It is priced at sub Rs. 1 lakh. With this product Tulsient has successfully incorporated enterprise class storage device attributes such as reliability, high availability and scalability in `Tulsient Hallmark', thus offering a value proposition to SMEs.

Unlike most entry-level NAS boxes that are Windows-based, this one uses Linux. With the rapid growth of network storage, that leads to ever-increasing demand of storage performance, Tulsient Hallmark is equipped with performance-driven system design and integrated Gigabit connectivity, that satisfies the needs for fast data access while maintaining great system reliability.

o deploy services such as file sharing, online backup and offline data management. " Tulsient Hallmark allows for quick and safe installation, without impacting the network server. Network Attached Storage (NAS) Server provides the easiest way to attach scaleable hard drive storage to the network.

One can add more than 2,000 GB without disturbing the network or file servers. The Tulsient Hallmark Network Attached Storage server is ideal for local databases, backup of workstation data and is very economical. NAS provides equal access to the storage devices from workstations and servers. The company has already done beta installations of Tulsient Hallmark with some of the leading corporates like Air India, GESCO and plans to promote the product through a network of regional distributors and system integrators. Tulsient already has a commanding presence with installations in about 50 percent of the companies in top 500 IT spenders in India.

The product incorporates Dual Fast-Ethernet Network Ready Storage Server with Hot-swappable (optional) hard disks drive, supporting multiple RAID volumes, global hot-spare and RAID expansion capability, and IDE CD-R/RW, DVD±RW and/ or tape drive(s). The NAS device has an optional integrated Ethernet switch within the box that can be directly connected to external storage devices.

This is Ingrasys NAS 8200 T5 Storage, This is available with other company in India. Just change in Name does not make any sense, Support from Tulsient is very bad.
