Micro Focus Appoints Jorge Dinares as President EMEA

Jorge Dinares has been appointed President International of Micro Focus for the EMEA, India and Latin American Geos. After nine months as Vice President International Sales at Micro Focus, he has been promoted to President International of the company, for these regions which are key to the development of this English multinational company, dedicated to modernization and application management for businesses.

In this way the multinational company consolidates its strategy in three different regions: USA and Canada; Asia, Pacific; and EMEA, India and Latin America.

Since 1982 Jorges experience has always been connected to the world of technology. After commencing his working life in IT, he began to develop his first management position in Oracle where he worked for 9 years as Commercial Manager for the services and industry sectors.  In 1995, he was appointed Country Manager for BMC Software in Spain and Portugal, and after three years he became part of the Europe

an Management team as Vice President of professional services in EMEA. In the 12 years that Jorge worked for BMC he had other important positions, as VP for Southern Europe for five years and during the last two years he was VP for Emerging and Growth Market at global level.  After this Dinar was appointed CEO of Panda Security which was the last position he ran before joining Micro Focus to lead the development of the international business for the company.
