ITVN: What are the cost effective networking printing solutions and services do you have for SMBs? How these solutions benefits SMB customers?

RSM: We have recently launched The Epson Stylus Office series. The new Epson Stylus Office T30, T40W, TX300F and TX600FW are Epsons latest business printers from this series which are engineered specifically to meet the needs of SMBs. This range of printers is going to change how SMB's view their printing requirements. The Key aspect of Epson Stylus office Range is its Speed and cost efficiency combined with superior Wi fi technology which improves the overall productivity of any SMBs. The speed is comparable if not quicker than equivalent Laser printers and the cost efficiency is superior. This combined with a host of features makes it an extremely sensible investment for any SME

. We believe that the launch of the Epson Stylus Office will be able to help SMEs maximize value from every print through its laser-like speed, laser-like print quality and innovative multi-function features at a reduced cost.

ITVN: How Channel should plan effectively to sell printers to SMBs?

RSM: The Key aspect of selling to SMB is to understand the correct requirement of them & giving solutions which will take both short term as well as long term interest of SMB in mind. Therefore the information&Knowledge of the customer as well as the products is one of the key aspects which the channel should have to address to this segment

ITVN: How can a SMB customer choose which printer is best suited and provide value adds?

RSM: In the present economic slowdown cost reduction and maximising productivity are very important for any organisation especially for SMBs. T

o maximise productivity SMBs need to know what their requirements are or what features they are looking for in a printer, SMBs should buy customised products to meet their exact requirements. Customised solution is the need of the hour for the SMBs.


ITVN: Your nearest competitor is trying to gain momentum with driving the printing cost down and with new managed services. What would be your strategies to remain competitive and tap SMBs?


RSM: SMBs form a huge market in India with an immense potential for growth. Hence any vendor would be interested to tap this market. We are aware that more and more products or solutions will be targeted at the SMB segment. We have studied this market extensively we feel we have done our homework with the launch of our Epson Stylus Office products. Here we have provided the key features that most SMBs look for in a printer at a favourable/reasonable price and running cost. Epson Stylus Office

consists of two single function printers, two multifunction printers and two scanners. Some of the attractive features of this series are Re-engineered Epson Micro Piezo print head technology for Laser-like Quality and Speed, enhanced functionality with wireless connectivity, low cost of ownership, low power consumption etc. which would meet the requirements of the SMB segment. These features make our products stand out in the market.

ITVN: What are companys channel plans and product plans for coming fiscal?


RSM: We have our existing Structured Channel Programs which are ongoing. This programs addresses both at our EAP Epson Accredited Partners Level (1st Tier Partners around 180 all Over India) as well as at our ECC Epson Certified Channel (final Tier Partners over 4000 Partners across India)

We have recently launched our Epson Stylus office range which is more tailor made products for the SMB segment. More such inter

esting products to cater to various other segments are in pipe line and expected to be launched late this year.


ITVN: What would be your be focus area this fiscal?

RSM: To consolidate our position as the leader in Digital Imaging solutions to our customers both at Home as well as at Office. Towards this process we will continue our leadership positions across key products like
1) Retail POS solutions,
2) The most cost effective solutions for all commercial Printing including Large corporate&enterprises through our established Dot-matrix printing technology,
3) To continue our No 1 Position in the Projector sales across all verticals,
