Election Delays CITA IT Expo 2009

This is not the first time the event re-scheduled, previously also it got postponed...

The elections not only creates problem for the sale and payment but it also work as a hurdle for the partners and this is the one reason why Cuttack IT Association (CITA) finding it difficult to hold IT Expo 2009. Because of the ongoing Lok Sabha election, we have rescheduled the plan to hold IT Expo 2009. Such elections definitely leave an impact in the market. So we decided to hold it after the election, says, Manoj Kumar Mahapatro, Committee Chairman, CITA. The Cuttack IT market is one of the fastest growing markets in the eastern region with more and more companies are eyeing the vast potential here. The partners are already turning bullish on to cater e-governance consumption.

This is not the first time the event re-scheduled, previously also it was re planned because of the board examination going on. He adds, We had planned it to hold in month of January but we postponed it till March and again we decided to go for this in May after poll result. Its almost decided tha

t we will organise it in last of May when election fever ends and new government will form. Latter in coming days, we will announce the exact date and venue. The association has already finished paper work and almost finalized the sponsors but yet the finale decision has to come official further on.
