Infotech Enterprises Japan KK, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infotech Enterprises Limited (IEL), Hyderabad and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), heavy machinery manufacturer have signed a framework agreement under which Infotech will provide engineering services support to MHI. This is the first engagement for Infotech in Japan after the commencement of companys operations a few months ago (Aug. 2008) in the country. Under the agreement, Infotech will be a technology partner to MHI and will provide engineering services ranging from conceptual to detailed design, analysis, MRO, manufacturing process and technical publications. Infotech will contribute substantially to various product portfolios of MHI which includes aerospace, gas turbine, energy, plant, rail and shipbuilding. The scope of this agreement encompasses MHI and all its subsidiaries including Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation where Infotech will be a major partner in the MRJ program.
