Infotech signs MoU with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

Infotech Enterprises Japan KK, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infotech Enterprises Limited (IEL), Hyderabad and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), heavy machinery manufacturer have signed a framework agreement under which Infotech will provide engineering services support to MHI. This is the first engagement for Infotech in Japan after the commencement of companys operations a few months ago (Aug. 2008) in the country. Under the agreement, Infotech will be a technology partner to MHI and will provide engineering services ranging from conceptual to detailed design, analysis, MRO, manufacturing process and technical publications. Infotech will contribute substantially to various product portfolios of MHI which includes aerospace, gas turbine, energy, plant, rail and shipbuilding. The scope of this agreement encompasses MHI and all its subsidiaries including Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation where Infotech will be a major partner in the MRJ program. Mohan Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director, Infotech Enterprises Limited said, The engagement with MHI offers excellent scope for widening Infotechs domain expertise in engineering including aerospace engineering. This would enable stretching the boundaries of advanced technology and innovation from both sides. Krishna Bodanapu, Senior Vice President, Engineering, Infotech Enterprises Limited said, This is a convergence of two global experts to do pioneering work in Japanese engineering. This engagement will offer world class products using the expertise of both companies. This is a significant partnership for us and we are confident that we will work towards exceeding expectations.
