Panasonic Revises Toughbook Laptops

Introduces the F8, T8 and W8 machines.

Panasonic has updated its Toughbook T, Y, F series of laptops and introduces the F8,T8 and W8 machines which features includes thin-and-light, pictured right, positioned as a tablet alternative and ultra portable.
The Toughbook F8 replaces the Y7, which is lightest 14-inch laptop with an internal optical drive. It weighs 3.7 pounds despite being clad in magnesium alloy.
The other feature of F8 includes 14.1-inch (1280 x 800) widescreen, anti-glare display, Windows Vista Business, 2.2-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of RAM (expandable to 4GB), 160GB shock-mounted HDD, DVD Multi drive, 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Gobi mobile broadband, 3.7 pounds, Integrated handle for maximum portability, and provides approximately 6 hours of battery life. Toughbook F8 is priced at $2,499.
Panasonic ToughBook T8 features: 12.1-inch (1024 x 768), anti-glare touchscreen, Windows Vista Business, 1.2-GHz ultra-low voltage Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of RAM (expandable to 4GB), 20

GB shock-mounted HDD, 802.11a/b/g/n, bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Gobi mobile broadband, it weighs 3.3 pounds, has Rubber hand strap for a sure grip and provides approximately 7 hours of battery life. Panasonic Toughbook T8 is priced at $2,099.
