HP Partners with EA To Woo Gaming Enthusiasts.

HP announced a new marketing initiative involving collaboration with Electronic Arts Inc. and its upcoming release of the anticipated game from Will Wright, Spore. Through this initiative, consumers in Asia Pacific will have the opportunity to download the trial version of Spore Creature Creator\ from mid-July 2008 and have a go at creating their own Spore creatures. To further encourage these personal expressions that celebrate creativity and imagination, HP, together with EA Asia Pacific and MTV Asia Networks to promote an exciting creature creation design competition in the same period.

HP's strategic collaboration with EA strengthens its Personal promise in delivering the personal aspect of technology at play. It is designed to enhance the way consumers experience and enjoy technology in a way that is relevant to them, so they get the best experiences.

Spore, the highly-anticipated game from the creators of The Sims, gives players their own personal universe in a box. Create and evolve life, establish tribes, build civilizations, sculpt entire worlds and explore a universe filled with creations made by other gamers. Spore gives players a wealth of creative tools to customize nearly every aspect of their universe: creatures, vehicles, buildings, and even UFOs.

As part of the marketing initiative, HP together with EA and MTV Asia Networks will launch an exciting Asia Pacific Spore creature design competition in mid-July 2008. Participants will be encouraged to unleash their creative flair and imagination to create personalized creature characters. Amidst the excitement, all can look forward to viewing and even playing with Spore creatures designed by MTV VJs and celebrities.
