The exhibition was enriched with 4,495 booths of 1,626 exhibitors..
Each and every one is concerned about deflating natural resources and the mounting environmental pollutions. The IT Industry is also trying to give a major contribution to environment. “Green IT” and “Power efficiency” with tech advancement was the main theme of this expo, which driven this fair for all the participants to promote their product as well as a message for a better environment. For the IT players, Computex is one of the world’s biggest platforms for unveiling their new products as well as to beat the heat they are facing from their closest rival by showcasing a better product with a low cost.
Some big vendors launched cuttin
g edge technology to attract consumers worldwide. Computex appreciated the vendors by giving them awards for the best designs. Highly competitive 17 Taiwan-based IT manufacturers, including Acer, A-DATA, AnMo Electronics, AsusTek, Cooler Master, Mitac, Patriot Memory, Sonnenschein, SSI, Starline, VIA, and Thermaltake became the award winners.
During the fair, Intel unveiled Intel Atom Brand for new family of low-power processors, which will give new directions to the emerging low priced ultra portable notebook market. Cooler Master showcased the latest and greatest in PC chassis, power supply and cooling. The company not only introduced a full range of products but it also unveiled new and unique material treatments as well. Even though the COSMOSS introduced early in 2008, Cooler Master has another interesting chassis for the mid-range market dubbed HAF, High Air Flow. This chassis accommodates numerous 200mm fans, which provides for extremely enhanced airflow from all directions. Cooler Master shows no signs of slowing down with CPU coolers, presenting new and uniquely "asymmetrical twin-fan" designs that come with numerous cooper heat-pipes.
Apacer showcased its entire l
