Hitachi Data Systems announced Arun Singh Sajwan as new Regional Director for North and East to provide regional sales direction and leadership.

Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. and the only provider of Services Oriented Storage Solutions, announced the appointment of Arun Singh Sajwan as Regional Director, North & East for their India operations. Arun with his 12 years of experience will be responsible for providing regional sales direction and leadership, which are closely aligned with Hitachi Data Systems' corporate and country business objectives.

As Regional Director North & East India, he will work closely with the Managing Director, Natarajan Viswanathan and other business leaders in driving the growth and the expansion of the company's revenue and market share in the region.

Prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems, Arun held the position of Associate Vice President, Middle East region with Bahwan Cybertek Dubai. He significantly contributed towards growth of the company's revenue in the enterprise and corporate market. Arun's experience also spans across Alliance and ISV partnership management. His earlier background at NCR and SUN Microsystems provided him with a solid foundation in the large FSI market in the region.
