Microsoft announced the availability of new software that provides easy ways for business networking in cost effective ways.
Microsoft India announced the availability of its Unified Communications Software in the country. The software provides easy ways for business networking features like video conferencing etc in cost effective ways.
The software is designed for streamlining workplace communication and reducing the cost of the average corporate VOIP system by half. This unified system includes Microsoft office communicator, Microsoft office communication server 2007, Microsoft office live meeting and Microsoft exchange hosted service. The software enables employees within organization to be able to communicate and collaborate through Email, phone calls, instant messaging, and videoconference in very simple and cost effective way while you are in office or on the way.

r Business Group, Microsoft India told itVARnews.
Initially Microsoft is targeting business groups and focusing on government sector that always looks for cost effective plans. Army and security forces are prime focus. Presently Marico, Godrej and NIIT are their customers in India.
In India they are coordinating with hardware and PVX operator to find the solution. The software can run on different environments and all big brands have interoperability with all Microsoft products. They have future plans to introduce it in remote area to provide medical facilities. Microsoft is providing all the service without violating norms of VOIP restrictions. "We have intelligence at gate way to ensure there is no bridging between PSTN call and closed user group," added Vibhu Ranjan, Director, Unified Communications, Microsoft India.
