Anil Kumar Choudhury of Maple Computer & Communication has been successfully elected as the 7th President of ITAO.

IT Association of Orissa (ITAO) has elected new body for the year 2007-08. Anil Kumar Choudhury of Maple Computer & Communication has been successfully elected as the 7th President of ITAO. Parikshita Dash of Nigam Computech & Services has been elected as Vice President, Dayananda Ratho of Cyber Software & Services as Secretary, and Navratan Bothra of Lalani Infotech Ltd. as Treasurer.

The other Executive Members include: - Rajesh Dora, Ashwini Mohapatra, Soubhagya Routray, Brahma Prakash Mishra, G.B. Gupta, Manoj Lalani, Manoj Patra, Sunil Jaiswal, Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Abhishek Poddar, Pritish Gupta, Vikash Gupta, Srinibash Tripathy, and Sunil Panda.

Speaking to itVARnews on the future goal, Anil Kumar Choudhury, newly elected President of ITAO said, "We have various projects in mind. One of them is opening an IT club for the IT vendors and channel. IT Conferences will be held here. Members will find ample opportunities for enjoyment. Various indoor games wil

l find place here."

A new committee, headed by Dayananda Ratho and Manoj Patra, has been set up to materialize the IT Club in quick time. Apart from the Club, the Association would be focusing on IT Expo Committee to be headed by Manoj Lalani, IT Business Development Committee to settle the disputes, and Empowering Rural Youth by giving them proper training.

As Dayananda Ratho added, "We are giving the Business Development mission a new look by giving it fine touches. We will ensure a uniform pricing structure and will wipe out the immoral practices form the market."

ITAO has over 129 members from all over Orissa and is well recognized even beyond the boundaries of Orissa.
