LogicaCMG Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

LogicaCMG announces the appointment of Andy Green as Chief Executive Officer.



LogicaCMG announces the appointment of Andy Green as Chief Executive Officer. He will take over from acting Chief Executive Jim McKenna with effect from 1 January 2008.

Green (52) joins from BT Group where he has been a member of the Board since 2001, and where he is currently Chief Executive Officer of Strategy and Operations. He brings to LogicaCMG a wealth of experience leading and developing a world class business services company.

Since beginning his career at BT in 1986, Green's responsibilities have included sales and marketing, operations and strategy. In addition to developing BT's internet services company, he played a major role in the development of BT's business outside the UK. He was the CEO of BT Global Services from 2001 until April this year, during which period he personally led the successful transformation of the business through organic change and a series of strategic moves. While there, he doubled revenues to around £9 billion and oversaw

a major improvement in profitability.

Green is a non-executive director of Navteq Inc and a board member of e-skills UK. He also plays an active role in the CBI (Presidents Committee) and Chartered Management Institute (Companion), as well as supporting charities Shelter (Appeal Board) and Abesu (Trustee). He began his career at Shell, later joining Deloitte Haskins & Sells, supporting customers in the communications, manufacturing and banking sectors.
