The foremost IT Exhibition in India, the Asia IT Expo, concluded on a positive note in Mumbai.
The foremost IT Exhibition in India, the Asia IT Expo, concluded on a positive note in Mumbai. The exhibition was a three-day event from 28th to 30th September 2007 and was organized The Economic Times at Bombay Exhibition Center, Goregaon (East).
The event saw many of the major players in IT arena like Kingston, Zen, Creative, Panasonic, Intel, Sahara Computers, Kores, Numeric, Fujitsu, ACI, D-Link, Samsung, Stellar, Quick Heal etc. among others display their products directly or through channel partners. Almost all these big players got positive response from the visitors who thronged the three-day event.
Present at the expo, Kingston kicked off its 20th anniversary celebrations with a bang. Speaking to itVARnews, Nitin Malhotra, Country Manager, Kingston India said, "The expo was the leading event for IT hardware and peripherals industry in India. We displayed all our gaming modules, memory, flash cards, and data card readers and have received a tremendous res
ponse. It helped us to increase our brand awareness. We really look forward to such events in the future."
Echoing similar thoughts, Sujeet Bose, Regional Manager (West)- B2B, Samsung Electronics India said, "We showcased our LCD monitors, CRT monitors, laser printers and MFD printers. Laser printers are really doing in the market and we got good queries from dealers and corporates."
Targeted at Computer hardware, software and services, the event was visited by IT professionals, system integrators, manufacturers, distributors, resellers and channel partners from across the country. Several companies introduced new products at the expo like Epson introduced new printer with flexibility for different capacity ink tanks, Zen launched its new MP3 and MP4 player, and Creative Technology introduced a new low priced PC.
