Building on the success of PCS-TL30, we now launch the latest IP videoconferencing system, the PCS-TL33. As part of the IPELATM family, this new model features a widescreen 17.1-inch WXGA LCD that also doubles as a PC monitor, making it perfect for individual desktops or small meeting spaces. The enhanced features make it to be the ideal choice for business communications.

Sony announced the launch of its latest IP videoconferencing system, the PCS-TL33. Part of the IPELA family from Sony, this new model features a widescreen 17.1-inch WXGA LCD that also doubles as a PC monitor, making it perfect for individual desktops or small meeting spaces. Its integrated, all-in-one design also includes an electrical Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera with a wider angle lens with up to 87 viewing angle a

nd 3x digital zoom, all housed in a slim and lightweight body.

"The system's high-quality audio and video enable users to really communicate as if face-to-face. The new camera also provides brighter video quality even in dark environments, while the new echo-canceller offers higher clarity and makes voices sound more natural."

Riding on the success of the PCS-TL30, its successor the PCS-TL33 offers a range of enhancements that make videoconferencing easier and more efficient. According to Wong, the most unique and innovative feature is the convenient 'KIOSK' mode that enables users to create their own customized GUI for the company

, thus making videoconferences more personal and ensuring an experience that's tailor-made to the individual.

The intuitive GUI, which uses translucent cascading menus, can display all menu-items on one layer. It is also ideal for unattended services such as remote consulting or customized distance learning, this mode makes connection to be an easy and intuitive process, while also offering hassle-free configuration and set-up. Additionally, the PCS-TL33 provides a user-friendly interface, and offers a simpler, more flexible configuration for system integrators.
