ACDWA To Organise Mega IT Expo

Allahabad Computer Dealers Welfare Association (ACDWA) is going to organize a Mega IT expo in the region from 13th to 16th October 2007.



Allahabad Computer Dealers Association (ACDWA) in association with Mercury Link is going to organize a Mega IT expo in the region from 13th to 16th October 2007. Mega IT expo will be a part of the annual event held at Allahabad named Life & Style.

Giving more details about the expo to itVARnews, Shiv Shankar Singh, President, ACDWA said, "Under the Mega IT expo we will showcase the development in Office automation and IT. It is the only mega event that will bring a number of Indian and international companies on a common platform for making the consumers aware of the exponential growth in the information technology sector."

The expo will showcase all the latest IT products & services like Laptops, Desktops, Peripherals, and Networking products etc. The association is expecting a footfall of around 1.5 lakh visitors. Around 72 stalls have been booked so far. The potential customers will get a chance to view technology intensive and high value added products and ser

vices available in Allahabad.

"The main purpose behind organizing this event is to increase customer awareness about the latest IT products, and help dealers in generating business enquiries. We are in talks with several IT corporates like Intel, HP, Samsung etc. for the sponsorship and are hopeful that they will help us in making this expo a huge success," Singh informed.

He further added, "The Allahabad IT market is growing at an annual rate of 50 percent and we are confident that this expo will definitely help in the further growth of IT industry."
