Oracle Identity Manager Positioned In Leaders Quadrant

Oracle announced that Oracle Identity Manage was positioned in the Leaders Quadrant for Gartner's Magic Quadrant for User Provisioning, 2H07 report.



Oracle announced that Oracle Identity Manager, an offering within Oracle Identity Management and component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, was positioned in the Leaders Quadrant for Gartner's Magic Quadrant for User Provisioning, 2H07 report.

In the Magic Quadrant for User Provisioning, 2H07 report, Gartner states, "User provisioning has achieved a level of technical maturity that delivers relative value for business needs to make security more efficient and comply with regulatory and legal reporting and auditing. Moreover, user provisioning is ready for deployment for most enterprise identity management business needs."

Oracle Identity Manager is a highly flexible and scalable enterprise identity management system that enables organizations to centrally control user accounts and access privileges within enterprise IT resources. To help meet changing business and regulatory requirements, the software manages the entire identity lifecycle including: identity and

role administration, approval and request management, policy-based entitlement management, technology integration and audit and compliance automation. Additionally, Oracle Identity Manager's hot-pluggable architecture delivers flexibility and scalability with product features such as a Java EE implementation, N-tier deployment architecture, browser-based user interfaces and Oracle Grid compatibility as well as out-of-the-box integration to Oracle and non-Oracle enterprise applications.
