Our company is experiencing a growth of 45 % on an annual basis. We are targeting corporates as our target segment since slowly and steadily corporates are gripping this market.�

Product unavailability is another problem here. On this Proprietor, Popular Computers, A.S. Nayar said that, “Sometimes we face a problem because of the non availability of products on demand by our customers. Otherwise we are doing well in this business a

nd experienced growth of 40% last year and expect growth of 60 % this year. We also provide 100% service support to our customers.�

Lifestyle products like MP3 Players and Pen Drives are experiencing good demand in this part of the country. Managing Director, Tokyo Shop, Chandra said, “We are dealing in all the major brands like HCL, Toshiba. There is a comparatively good demand for lifestyle products. We sell more of Creative products as Apple is expensive. We are enjoying an annual turn over of more than 1 crore.� Even though corporate is a vital segment in Ernakulam, the channel still considers end user segment to be important.
