The UMAX AstraPix 630 model is an ideal companion for travelers.

UMAX, one of the prominent players in imaging technology, has announced the launch of its AstraPix 630 digital camera. The AstraPix 630 is a 3.3 Megapixel CCD auto-focus camera with color display and SD card slot. This model features a CCD sensor for good picture quality and low noise.

Pictures and menu are displayed on a 1.5" TFT display while the internal memory can be expanded with an optional SD card. The auto focus delivers sharp pictures. The camera can be connected to the PC with USB and offers not only video function but also red eye reduction (with pre flash). Pictures can also be displayed as slide show on a TV screen with the TV output.

Priced at Rs. 5250/-, the unique feature of AstraPix is that it is compact and lightweight for which it serves very handy on many occasions as it can be carried along with ease. It also comes with a rechargeable battery and a charger, which is very convenient to use when one is traveling or going on adventurous treks.
