Mumbai based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) is strongly preparing itself to make their first COM-IT Expo 2007 successful in the region.

Mumbai based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) is strongly preparing itself to make their first COM-IT Expo 2007 successful in the region. The event will kick start on December 8 2007 till December 11 2007 at the MMRDA Exhibition Grounds, Mumbai.

Speaking to itVARnews, Spokesperson and Expo Manager, TAIT, Champakraj Gurjar, said, “We are very excited about COM-IT Expo in the region. This is the first time in 11 years of TAIT's existence that such an event would be organized. COM-IT Expo will be the premier annual event in the world of Computer Hardware, Software, and IT products and services in India. With a booming economy and high growth in the Indian IT market it will provide a huge opportunity to large number of distributors, resellers, and dealers. Here, such expo will grow beyond the dimension of exhibition by providing common platform to both industry and business professionals.

iation to make this event an exclusive among all IT expos which shows the presence of both B2B and B2C format. Our main purpose is to increase the strength of our participants. Therefore, we have started contacting all the international vendors, dealers, and resellers. Every week we have a meeting where we make strategies with the members of the association. We are planning to make this event an international success,� added Gurjar.

To make this event more joyful the association is going to launch its IT directory for the second year in the region. This directory contains the addresses of all the resellers in Mumbai as well as the numbers of all the service centers in the region. The entire brand details are mentioned in it along with the details of its channel partners It has been launched in both booklet and in CD, which is more time saving.
