Allied Telesis’ WebSmart switch integrates the simplicity of unmanaged switches with the performance and reliability of managed switches.
Allied Telesis, worldwide leader in unmanaged Ethernet switches, launches WebSmart switch, AT-FS750/24POE, a 24-port 10/100TX Power over Ethernet (POE) WebSmart Switch with 2 1000T and Small Form Pluggable (SFP) Combo Ports that truly helps network managers get the most value for their dollar.
Allied Telesis’ WebSmart switch integrates the simplicity of unmanaged switches with the performance and reliability of managed switches to provide a cost-effective solution for users to integrate management at the edge of their network. This WebSmart switch provides a network manager some key features using the simple web-based management function such as: port-based VLANs, 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS), IP Multicast support (IPv4), port trunking / link aggregation, port mirroring, priority queue's & 802.1x security support.
The AT-FS750/24POE WebSmart switch has a 802.1x port-based and MAC-based Network Access Control with Local authentication server (MD5 only), remot
e authentication through Remote Authentication Dial In User Service (RADIUS), dynamic VLAN assignment, RADIUS client for 802.1x, Dynamic Host Configuration protocol (DHCP) client and statistics charts in WEB. The window based support includes switch discovery management up to 254 switches, firmware upgrade by File Transfer protocol (FTP) and Web, configuration backup/restore by FTP, password access control and restricted IP access list.
The AT-FS750/24POE WebSmart switch is capable of providing up to 12 ports of Class 2 IEEE 802.3af standard POE power (6 ports Class 3), POE module function tests and per-port LED / status monitoring that is ideally suited for those applications using security camera, wireless access points, IP phones, or and other POE powered device. The POE options eliminate the need for power rewiring and minimize the clutter of power supplies and adapters in awkward places.
