SiS Participated In WinHEC 2007 Taipei

SiS participated in the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference – WinHEC 2007 Taipei.



SiS participated in the “Windows Hardware Engineering Conference – WinHEC 2007 Taipei�. At this event, SiS showed off its innovations, technologies, and the latest achievements, which is jointly created by SiS and its customers.

WinHEC is one of the most valuable events at Microsoft and it is considered the best guide for IT industry professionals to receive firsthand information on the latest technology and innovation in the Windows hardware platform. The 2-days event will cover topics including: next-generation video processing technology and multimedia devices, unified communications, Networking, Windows Server 2007, and core-technology of Windows.

As a system chipset designer, SiS has continuously dedicated its effort to innovate the latest computing technologies to provide more efficiency and convenience to all PC users. To perfectly answer the next generation Windows operation system, SiS has developed the SiS672FX and SiS671FX series chipsets, which h

ave been officially certificated for Windows Vista.

The SiS671FX chipset has been used on systems or motherboards of PCCHIPS, FUJITSU, and NEC. And the SiS671 chipset can be found in AcerPower and Aspire desktop PCs of Acer. At WinHEC Taipei 2007, SiS will showcase the SiS672FX/968 platform which has received the certification for Windows Vista.

On the other hand, SiS also displays the home server system “Churchill�—the world’s first AMD mini-DTX reference board with the certification for Windows Home Server Logo. With the built-in SiS761GX/966 chipsets, and the support to AMD Socket AM2 CPUs, the “Churchill� can amazingly provide various multimedia applications, and flexibly connect with other digital home devices through wireless network to bring convenience and efficiency to all the home users.
