Epson has launched the comprehensive multimedia projectors with built-in speakers and long lamp life for maximum cost effectiveness.

Epson, the world’s number one brand in data projectors for the last six consecutive years, has launched the EPSON EMP-S5 and EMP-X5 comprehensive multimedia projectors.

Featuring built-in speakers, the projectors are ideal for delivering engaging multimedia presentations in boardrooms, meeting rooms and classrooms. With a maximum weight of 2.7kg, they are also portable enough for mobile use without having to lug additional sound components.

For even greater cost-effectiveness and reduced maintenance inconvenience, the projectors are also fitted with new improved bulbs to extend lamp life up to 4000 hours. Packed with a great deal of other attractive features, all the projectors offer great performance at an unrivaled entry-level pricing.

The EPSON EMP-S5 and X5 offer the full suite of essential projector functions that are user-friendly even for first timers.

As a standard feature for Epson’s range of business projectors, the projectors include a

n A/V mute slide panel in front of the projectors’ lens. When the projector needs to be temporarily suspended for breaks or talks to take place, simply push the A/V mute slide to cover the lens to fully cut-off light source and reduce internal fan noise. To continue with the presentation, just pull back the A/V mute slide. This effectively removes unwanted delay in turning off and turning on the projector.

For mobile users, the quick Start-Up time of just five seconds means presentations can be up and running almost immediately. The Instant-Off function with zero cooling down time is also excellent for users who need to pack-and-go.

The EPSON EMP-S5 and X5 are equipped with Epson’s proprietary 3LCD and E-TORL (Epson-Twin Optimise Reflection Lamp) lamp technology. The results are images that are smoother, more natural and easy on the eyes even with prolonged viewing.

Through an energy-conserving design, both projectors have significantly reduced power c

onsumption to just 231W. The projectors will also automatically shutdown if the A/V mute slide has been closed for 30 minutes.

For added peace-of-mind, users can guard their investment with a combination of security features. The integrated tough security bar (which allows Kensington lock mechanism) protects against physical theft of the projector unit, while the password protection upon start-up safeguards against unauthorized use.
