ATEN KH1508/KH1516 provides high flexibility, compatibility and expandability for server room administration.

ATEN International, leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of advanced connectivity solutions, added the 8-port and 16-port Cat 5 High-Density KVM switches- KH1508 and KH1516 to its ALTUSEN product line. The innovative KVM switches allow users to connect up to 8 or 16 servers of multiple platforms via RJ-45 connectors and Cat 5 cabling, and to control them from a single KVM (keyboard, video, and mouse) console.

KH1508/KH1516 extend the distance between KVM switch and servers up to 40 meters transmitting an excellent video quality, and allow administrators to control up to 512 attached servers by linking additional units.

The two level password security of KH1508/KH1516 allows authorized users (up to four users and the administrator) to view and control the servers, thus protecting the system and vital business information. Furthermore, the devices feature front panel LEDs that indicate the position of the units.
