The Allahabad Computer Dealers Welfare Association, appointed new board members, in a general board meeting held recently, for the year 2007-08.

The Allahabad Computer Dealers Welfare Association, appointed new board members, in a general board meeting held recently, for the year 2007-08.

Shiv Shanker of Stek Sytems has been appointed as the new President for the year 2007-08. He takes over the post from Vipin Aggarwal.

Speaking to itVARnews on the focused areas of new committee members, the newly elected President, ACDWA, Shiv Shanker informed, “The most important agenda for us will be to provide all sort of help to resellers in realizing the stuck-up funds in the hands of the customers which amounts to substantial in toto.”

The committee will also be organizing a Computer Mela in December. As Shanker informed, “We will be organizing a Computer Mela in December which will be targeted at the resellers. Also tis year we will be focusing on debt recovery cell to help resellers, make general house meetings for dealers, provide a CUG communication system to all members, provide all sorts of support to

all members and to sort all the disputes between members.”

A major achievement, which was implemented last year, was “Introduction of Service book”. The concept was appreciated all over the country by all computer trade people and widely accepted. This year also the committee wants to retain the concept.

The new committee members are:
