New Delhi based Computers Media Dealers Association (CMDA) has announced its agenda for 2007-08.

New Delhi based Computers Media Dealers Association (CMDA) has announced its agenda for 2007-08.

While speaking to itVARnews, Puneet Singhal, President CMDA, said, “For this year we are planning to accomplish our three major goals. It embraces preparation of our website, conducting a Trade Fair in Delhi and procurement of our own office space. These are the major issues with which we are currently struggling.”

As per Singhal, “In today’s time Internet is the easiest medium to get the information and with the help of our website, people can acquire all sorts of information related to CMDA. For our website we have formed a subcommittee under the chairmanship of Manoj Khanna. This will be an interactive website which contains the details of the members of CMDA. It contains information related to the current situation of IT market in India and we also have a section which is related to the queries of our consumers.”

To generate more awareness about CMDA, the a

ssociation is planning to conduct a Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in the end of this year. He added, “We have lots of expectations from this fair. It will be like a group fair, where eminent IT firms, popular brands and the IT associations from the different regions of India will participate and showcase their products. Here people will find all kind of IT products like hardware, software and consumer related products too. And, with the help of metro connectivity in Delhi more people will acquire knowledge and information about IT products. ”

Currently, CMDA is facing the problem of small working place in Delhi. “Presently, we have a very small space in our office which is located in Randeep Nagar, due to which we are not able to increase the strength of our members. Now we are looking out for a place which is economic and where more members can work at the same time.”

CAN SUCH AGENDA HELP IN THE GROWTH OF CMDA?
