Convergence India 2007 concludes

The 15th Convergence India 2007 Exhibition concluded in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan.



The 15th Convergence India 2007 Exhibition concluded on Thursday March 22, 2007 in New Delhi on a positive note. The exhibition was a three-day event from 20th to 22nd March 2007 and was organized at Pragati Maidan.

This exhibition is said to be South Asia’s largest ICT event that was organized by Cellular Operators Association of India and Exhibitions India Pvt. Ltd. The event is a platform for the participating 450 Telecom and IT companies to highlight their innovative products and technological developments.

The event saw many of the major global players like Buffalo, Zyxel, Cisco, Plustek, Fortinet, UT Starcom display their newly launched products at their stalls. Almost all these big players got positive response from the visitors who thronged the three-day event.

As Liaison Representative India, Buffalo Inc., Anju Thapa said, “The show is a success, as the visitors are not only from Delhi but from all over India. We are displaying all our products

along with the newly launched products and we have received some very serious queries from all segments including end users, SMBs and even corporates”.

Echoing the same thought, Country Manager, Plustek Inc., Ankur Sarkar stated, “Our main purpose of participating in this event was to promote our brand, so that more and more people know about our products. Furthermore, we have been getting good response from the visitors”.

Apart from all these known companies, many new companies from other countries also participated in this event. Commenting on this statement, Vice President, Micro Star International Co. Ltd., Linda explained, “This is the first time that our company has come to take part in Convergence India. We wanted to get some business queries and make some new customers in order to start good relations with the Indian IT market and we are getting response as per our expectations”.
