Zyxel appoints Laser Systems as distributor

Zyxel has appointed Laser systems as its distributor for Andhra Pradesh region.

Keeping in line with its aggressive channel expansion plans, Zyxel India has appointed Laser Systems as its distributor to tap the Andhra Pradesh market.

In a conversation with itVARnews, National Sales Manager, Zyxel India, Rakesh Singh said, "Laser Systems is a well known distributor and they have very strong channel strength all over the Andhra Pradesh region. The distributor is in the business for the last 15 years and hence this is an effort to enhance our distribution network across this region.”

The distributor Laser Systems now intends to cater to the system integrators in Andhra Pradesh. Explaining more about the objective of this partnership, Managing Director, Laser Systems Pvt. Ltd., Prasad Rao informed, “With this venture, we will focus extensively on establishing Zyxel's products, and will work with the top 20 system integrators in the entire Andhra region. We intend to provide value add to our top system integrators.”

According to the vendor

and the distributor, the major focus will not be confined to top cities like Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam. “We have a very good position in Hyderabad and now with Laser Systems, we plan to move beyond Hyderabad. Our objective is to consolidate our position in the major cities and the upcountry markets at one go", Singh added.

As far as Laser System's marketing strategy to position Zyxel in the market is concerned, the distributor will conduct meets for system integrators, where it will provide them necessary information about the products along with the demos. Commenting more on this, Rao stated, "We will position this brand in other regions like Vizag, Kakinada, Tirupati and Vijaywada too. Moreover, we plan to provide some schemes like trips and other incentives to the system integrators as a promotional activity”.

The distributor will target wide array of segments including corporates, SMBs and enterprises. Rao further informed that the service support would be provide

d to all the system integrators through the engineers, appointed at their branches.
