COMPASS organizes GUTS Seminar

COMPASS has organized a management workshop for improving the sales skills of the sales personnel.



COMPASS recently organized a Management Workshop on selling called ‘GUTS’ (Get Up To Sell) by Asit Ghosh, the Founder Director of Tuff Track International. The workshop was organized on February 8, 2007, at Kala Mandir, Kolkata.

It was aimed at helping the participants to improve their professional esteem and self- esteem by rising above the age-old order of conventional selling and join the global band of professionally trained sales people. K.L Lalani (President), Sanjoy Choudhuri, Pawan Jagodia (Chairman Exibition Committee) and other Compass members along with executives of various IT companies were present on the occasion.

Commenting on the seminar Lalani added, “The participants have gained a lot by joining the seminar. 21st century is opening up new challenging and rewarding career. The age-old concept of sticking to the family business is breaking down. The participants have learned how to accept new challenges gracefully and prosper. They have also lear

ned to set up a target logically and how to sell the product by toying with the psychological factors of a customer. Lively examples of great people and their great deeds charmed us all. Asit cited the example of first ever conquest of Mt.Everest and the psychological state of Hillary before and after reaching his goal. This indomitable courage to explore new avenues will definitely boost the morale of sales-people.”

The theme of the workshop revolved around the difference between 21st century professional selling and the age old conventional selling, the key to cross the formidable psychological barriers which lie in the mind of a prospect, to turn objections into reasons for buying, the key to effectively close the sell and the rewards of professional selling.
