SiS proudly announced that the SiS968 southbridge chipset has passed the compatibility certification hosted by USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF). With years of experience in developing southbridge chipset, SiS is once again given credit for its excellent product and great performance.

SiS968 is SiS’ latest southbridge chipset, which provides fully support to the desktop and mobile platforms of Intel and AMD. Equipped with SATA2 controller, the SiS968 chipset has 2 SATA2 ports with up to 3.0G/sec transition bandwidth. For enhanced data security and efficiency, the SiS968 chipset supports RAID0, 1, and JBOD.

Besides, the SiS968 supports the latest 8-channel High-Definition Audio and Gigabit Ethernet.
