Computer Associates has launched BrightStor r11.1, a storage management solutions that enables enterprises to safeguard their corporate data assets. Built around 13 tightly integrated and enhanced products, this new release is designed to better align storage spending with business value. By supporting more than 100 storage arrays, tape libraries, SAN switches, servers, operating systems, databases, and applications, the solution also helps to ensure the integrity and reliability of data protection across the enterprise.

BrightStor r11.1 will enable both enterprises as well as the small and medium businesses as it merges 13 integrated and enhanced products, thereby helping align storage spending with business value. Its key capabilities include cross-platform storage management, cross-platform backup management, enhanced resource management intelligence, process automation, optimized availability and Unicenter and eTrust Integration.
