Dell has announced three of its latest additions to the Latitude family of notebooks. The Latitude D410, D610 and D810 represent the next generation of D-Family notebooks incorporating the latest Intel mobile architecture with enhancements based on Dell’s direct customer feedback.
All the three systems are based on Intel Pentium M processors with speeds up to 2.13GHz 4, a 533-MHz front-side bus and 2MB L2 cache. They come with PCI Express—a new, industry-standard bus architecture that delivers powerful graphics, high performance memory and fast connections to peripherals like hard drives and DVD/CD burners. For durability and increased robustness the notebooks are housed in Tri-Metal chassis and magnesium alloy LCD covers. The notebooks come with Trusted Platform Module (TPM) security technology and integrated Smart Card readers which ensure only authorized systems access network data and resources.
They also have additional USB ports located for easier access and repos
itioned Wi-Fi antennas for improved wireless performance.
The Latitude D410, an ultraportable system that weighs under 1.75kg 2 and can deliver nearly all-day computing on a single battery charge when configured with an optional extended-life battery. Also available today are the thin and light Latitude D610 and the high-performance Latitude D810. The new notebooks are compatible with existing Latitude D-Family docks and accessories to preserve customers’ investments in upgrades and peripherals.
Price: Latitude D410 at Rs 99,046.70
Latitude D610 at Rs 86,932.00
Latitude D810 at Rs 1,23,560.24
