Treading on a futuristic path, Kharagpur based retailer, Goyal Infotech is going to initiate an online trading system in the region.

Started in the year 1999, Goyal Infotech nowadays has become a well-known name in the area’s educational sector. As Director, Goyal Infotech, Manoj Agarwal puts it, “For the last 7 years we have been dealing in computer hardware and peripherals. Though the margins in this trade have been decreasing drastically day by day, but the quality and service kept us moving and today we have become a trusted name among the IITians, as far as computers and peripherals are concerned.”

On launching the online trading system, Agarwal says, “We have been thinking of expansion of our network for the past few years. Working on this expansion plan, we designed our e-commerce website www.subhlaabh.com, in 2002. We will start trading through this website in the month of July. To handle the operations in a better way, we will soon shift our base to Kolkata. We h

ave plans to expand our franchise network in different places in India. After judging the initial response, we will start implementing our plans within the next few months.”

Once operational, the website will help the registered users to take part in buying, selling and even in the auction of various items. With 3D virtual shopping environment, the shopping will become far easier for the users.

“At present, we will focus on the eastern region only. Depending on the demands of the locations, we will decide on the numbers of franchisees to be appointed in those locations. After covering eastern region, there are plans to explore the northern and western parts of the country too”, adds Agarwal.

Besides launching this online IT trading website, recently, it has tied up with Ambujex Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and taken an 1000 sq ft. office in Science and Techno Entrepreneurs Park (STEP), IIT Kharagpur. Together they have chalked out several non-IT business propositions, w
