Cadence Design Systems (I) Pvt. Ltd., the Indian arm of Cadence Design Systems Inc., has partnered with Time to Market Inc (TTM), a provider of IC design services and training, and University of California, Santa Cruz, Extension (UCSC Extension), USA, to launch the Cadence-TTM-UCSC Extension Finishing School Program (FSP) in India.

The FSP is an advanced learning program in VLSI and electronic design for new graduates and industry professionals. It is intended to create a design-aware talent pool, thus addressing the growing need for skilled professionals in electronic design in India.

This joint initiative aims to accelerate the time to ramp for new graduates, as well as teach design engineers the latest in design technology. The Finishing School Program focuses on design and domain knowledge, and encompasses project management and soft skills.

Time to Market, the training partner, will initially launch the program in Hyderabad and Bangalore, an
