Sony Electronics has announced the introduction of a new DVD Writer in India, DRU-820A. It is Sony’s first DVD Multi drive, which supports VD+R Double/ Dual Layer recording, standard DVD+R/+RW, and DVD-RAM recording at improved writing speeds.

It supports 7 high speed DVD burning formats - 8x DVD+R DL, 6x DVD-R DL, 16x DVD+R, 16x DVD-R, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW, 5x DVD-RAM & it can also perform CD Burning functions CD-R 48x & CD-RW 24x.

DRU-820A is the retail product, which comes along with free black interchangeable panel & complete award winning Nero software suite.

Sony DRU 820A is available through select Rashi Partners and 42 Rashi Peripherals branches all over India. Sony DRU 820A is priced at Rs. 3250/- (Suggested End User Price) and comes with 1 Year Warranty.
