Silicon Power to unveil 150x 2GB SD card at CeBIT

Taiwan-based flash memory specialist Silicon Power Computer & Communications will debut a 2GB 150x (22.5MB/s) secure digital (SD) card at CeBIT 2006 in Hannover, Germany.

Taiwan-based flash memory specialist Silicon Power Computer & Communications will debut a 2GB 150x (22.5MB/s) secure digital (SD) card at CeBIT 2006 in Hannover, Germany.
The specifications are Speed (Note: 1x = 150KB/s)is 150x (reads up to 22.5MB/s and writes up to 16MB/s),Memory capacity- Up to 2GB,Chip technology and architecture-Samsung SLC (Single-level cell) NAND,Data retention-Up to 10 years,Durability is Minimum 10,000 insertions,Dimensions-24×32×2.1mm and the Weight is Approx. 2g
The 150x 2GB SD card delivers sufficient speed for multimedia applications including media services for third-generation (3G) mobile phones, such as video calls, games, music downloads, GPS services, movie trailers, news, sports updates and mobile banking.
Pricing and volume shipment schedule will be revealed after the CeBIT show, the company stated
