Fortinet Ropes in Datacipher as Authorised Training Center

Posted on February, Wednesday 08, 2012 By itVAR News Network

Fortinet has announced that it has appointed Datacipher Solutions as an Authorised Training Center (ATC) to provide its channel and customers with easy access to Fortinet Training Programs across the country.

The two courses currently offered by Datacipher cover administration and content inspection for the vendor's flagship FortiGate multi-threat security appliance. Code-named 201 and 301, the modules are designed to provide participants with the ability to fully configure and manage FortiGate devices. They can also help participants prepare for the Fortinet Certified Network Security Administrator (FCNSA) and Fortinet Certified Network Security Professional (FCNSP) certifications, which are widely recognised in the industry.

Vishak Raman, Senior Regional Director for Fortinet India and SAARC, said: “Datacipher Solutions' appointment is strategically important, as their highly structured training programs will help partners and end-users in the country gain in-depth knowledge of our products and maximize their use. They will also help partners complete the mandatory certification criteria as part of the Fortinet Partner Program, which is key in our strategy to broaden and strengthen our channel network in the coming year."

Datacipher Solutions has invested heavily in training infrastructure that can be leveraged across India.

Amar Kotha, Director of Datacipher Solutions, said: “Fortinet is a market leader and the fastest growing security vendor in India with an excellent value proposition in providing strong price-performance advantage to enterprises. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with Fortinet to strengthen the technical capabilities of their partners and help end-users take full advantage of Fortinet’s security technology across their IT infrastructure.”
