Fox Electronics to Participate in International IC-China 2012 Exhibition

Posted on February, Wednesday 01, 2012 By itVAR News Network

Fox Electronics, a leading global supplier of frequency control solutions, has announced it will be participating in the International IC-China 2012 Exhibition scheduled to take place from 23-25 February, 2012 in Shenzhen, China. Fox will be exhibiting its latest product innovations at IIC China 2012, a show that attracts thousands of visitors and potential customers from within the industry.

Fox Electronics is committed to expanding its role and market presence in China. The company has been seeing major growth in recent years, sustained by Fox's innovative line of XpressO oscillators. According to Herb Chaney, Vice President and Managing Director, Fox Electronics Asia Ltd. and Fox Electronics EMEA, it had become clear, by the close of 2011, that the year had seen more than 150% revenue growth over 2010 for the XpressO family. That builds on growth of 109% for the XpressO line in the 2009-2010 period. The outstanding growth sustained by Fox's XpressO oscillators has fueled several strategic expansionary moves, globally, including in Greater China.

Fast growing demand for Fox's application-specific XpressO parts has come in particular from the telecom and satcom sectors in China, and a recent milestone for the company was the sale of its 20 millionth XpressO part. Chaney emphasised that Fox is growing both its customer base and its channel presence in China, to ensure the company can meet the needs of its customer community in China with very fast delivery, whether samples or production parts, whether application-specific parts or custom-frequency XOs. In particular, noted Chaney, the company would be recruiting sales channel partners in China, as it moved into 2012. Fox would also be adding to its staff in Hong Kong, in the first two months of 2012.
