ASUS has released the VS197D monitor, an 18.5” LED monitor with 1366x768 resolution and 5ms quick response time for work and entertainment.

The monitor has a sturdy stand and slim profile without compromising style in ensuring stability and durability. The VS197D also features 50,000,000:1 ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio which dynamically enhances the display’s contrast by adjusting the luminance of the backlight to achieve the darkest black and brightest white – delivering lifelike images.

The best dual-display companion with widescreen notebook enlarges the visual space for multi-tasking efficiency. Aspect Control function allows users to select a preferred display mode among Full and 4:3 for true-to-life gaming or movie watching without any data loss or image distortion.

The exclusive Splendid Video Intelligence Technology in VS197D monitor optimizes video performance and image fidelity by enhancing color, brightness, contrast, and sharpness. Also, 6 preset video modes (Scenery, Theater, Game, Night View, sRGB and Standard) can be selected via a hotkey.

The Mercury-free LED-backlit panel VS197D comes with corrugated cardboard packaging with at least 80% recycled content. It has convenient key controls for functional set-up in the multi-language OSD. The monitor is compliant with the VESA standard. The ASUS VS197D monitor features a 75mm x 75mm VESA mountable design that allows users to mount it on a monitor stand or on a wall, depending on one's specific needs.

The product is price at Rs. 5000.
