Eastern Partners Rejoice at ITPV Partner Leadership Award in Kolkata

After awarding the national channel community of six different cities of Indore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Guwahati, ITPV Partner Leadership Award concludes in Kolkata with an overwhelming response from the channel community of the country

ITPV Partner Leadership Award 2011 series concluded with the Kolkata event on 16th December at Hotel The Park. It has been an exceptional day not only for Techplus Media but also for the vibrant and dynamic channel and solution provider community of Eastern India. The sole motive of the event was to recognize the leadership abilities and also to listen to the industry leaders and some prominent IT personalities of the country.

The event proceeded with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the Chief Guest – Shri Susanta Majumdar, Additional Secretary, Department of Information Technology, Government of West Bengal, Mr V.K. Bhandari M.D. Supertron Electronics, Mr. B. Hari, President of COMPASS, Mr Rajiv K Poddar General Secretary COMPASS, Mr. Alok Garodia MD Jupiter International, Mr. Kishan Choudhary, Director, Rashi Peripherals Pvt Ltd, Mr. Jagannath Patnaik, Director- Channel Sales Kaspersky India and Mr. Anuj Singhal MD Techplus Media. 

Followed by this the audience heard some encouraging words from Mr. Anuj Singhal, the man who has been the driving force behind this project for so many years. “We are amazed to see great success stories from this region, coming from the solution provider space. These success stories are setting the right tone for other regional players to follow suit and create different opportunities for others and help them move up,” he said.  

Chief Guest Susanta Majumdar also shared his valuable and enlightened views with all the honourable guests.  Kalpana Singhal, Editor-in-Chief Techplus Media said, “I am happy to admit that Kolkata based solution providers are creating examples in front of the national SI community and this is helping them move up the value chain in front of their set of end customers. So whether it is designing special storage solutions or cloud computing, or setting up private cloud, designing IT architecture specific to different verticals, security solutions or providing data center solutions, everything boils down to the ability of solution providers in terms of executing the critical projects and we at TechPlus media salute the spirit of solution providers of Kolkata for putting together the innovative spirit and in the way benefiting the all important IT end customers.”

Techplus Media used this platform to honour three individuals for their immense contribution to the IT Industry of the East. Mr. K L Lalani has been awarded for the Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. V K Bhandari was honoured as ITPV Business Leader and Mr. Alok Garodia got the recognition for his Outstanding Performance.  

The show was concluded with the vote of thanks by Kalpana Singhal, Editor-in-Chief Techplus Media.
