McAfee is making it easier for small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) to manage their endpoint security.

In response to a growing demand for simpler security solutions, McAfee launched McAfee SMB Endpoint Protection Essentials which provides flexible endpoint protection that can be deployed and managed in a manner unique to the company’s needs and budget. The new solution includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, desktop firewall, and McAfee SiteAdvisor Web site safety ratings.
 

McAfee SMB Endpoint Protection Essentials allows businesses to reduce IT costs and deploy endpoint protection managed the way they want (i.e., on premise or SaaS).  Depending upon their IT needs or availability of IT resources, SMB customers have the freedom to deploy security management for their endpoints on-premises, from the cloud (SaaS) or both by purchasing a single product.  Customers also have the option to change the deployment method as their needs change.  

Made for the plug-and-play world of the SMB, the solution features just the “must have” tools providing essential security at a SMB friendly price.

With integration between McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator platform and the McAfee online SaaS-based SecurityCenter, customers get a unified view of all their endpoints protected with SaaS or on-premise management.
