Fairchild Semiconductor, a leading global supplier of high performance power and mobile products has received Continental Automotive Korea’s 'Supplier of the Year in Quality 2011’ award during their "Supplier Council Launching Event” held in Konjiam resort, Korea.

Continental Automotive Korea, an affiliated company of Continental Automotive, is a leading supplier of automotive electronics for the automotive industry in Korea.

 
Continental Automotive is a global leading supplier to the automotive industry, delivering automotive electronics for vehicle safety, comfort and power train performance. Continental Automotive consists of 44 plants, research centers and test tracks in 15 countries including ten joint ventures in Asia.
 

“Fairchild is a great example of the vision that our award displays and richly deserves the award,” said Continental Automotive Korea President. “Fairchild’s commitment to excellent design support, manufacturing process and quality improvement is outstanding and an important part to our product quality. We have always known their excellence, and it's good to see their efforts recognized,” he added.

 “Continental Automotive Korea has extensive and stringent quality performance criteria,” said Chan Goo Park, Fairchild’s senior vice president for Korea-Japan Sales and Marketing. “By working with the Continental Automotive Korea, we were able to meet all of their requirements. We are extremely pleased to have received the “Supplier of the Year in Quality 2011 award. This award validates the processes we have put in place during the design and manufacture of our products. Achieving this award is a direct result of rigorous quality management, constantly striving for excellence, and a dedicated team of industrious individuals all aiming for the same goal – success of our customers,” he added.
