Four Soft Targets Scandinavian Countries

Four Soft (4S), a global leader in offering software solutions for the Logistics and Transportation industry, has shared its plans for the Scandinavian countries and its special focus on Denmark.

The company revealed the experiences so far and plans ahead to leverage on the untapped potential of Denmark at a Nasscom’s event, ‘LOCATION DENMARK – YOUR SPRINGBOARD INTO THE  NORDICS’, in Hyderabad on Wednesday, November , 2011.
 
Four Soft has been present in Denmark following its acquisition of Transaxiom, Denmark based global provider of logistics and transportation solutions in 2007.Four Soft currently has about 25 employees working in Denmark and has been serving its global clientele.
 
Biju Nair, CFO, Four said, “It was an excellent experience investing in Denmark. Apart from the growing existing business we also have great potential in growing our business in the shipper market especially in the Scandinavian regions.”

The demand for the logistics services surged post the global economic recovery in 2010. The logistics market in the Nordic region is characterized by intense competition, overcapacity, and depressed prices. The market is strongly linked to the economy and is expected to grow over the next few years. It also has good long-term growth potential. The rapidly growing e-commerce sector has great significance for the business and also drives new needs. A growing number of e-commerce companies are looking for solutions that include everything from customized freight, warehousing, and delivery to the end customer, to dealing with any complaints that may arise. There is also a growing need for flexible solutions within third party logistics.

The Nasscom event was accomplished in association with Invest in Denmark, the official inward investment promotion arm of Denmark and a part of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The objective of the event was to position Denmark as an ideal hub for the Nordics and focused on the favorable business framework conditions that exist in Denmark in terms of Ease of Doing business, Establishing in Denmark, the flexible labor laws and most importantly the business opportunities that are present in Denmark and the Nordic region.
