D Link Concludes first phase of ‘Connections 2011’

D-Link has successfully concluded the first phase of its channel engagement program titled ‘Connections 2011’. Held with the key objective of reaching out to more & more channel partners, Resellers, System Integrators (SIs) & Solution providers (SPs)present across the country.

Connections 2011 helps to educate customers about D-Links’ end-to-end range of networking product with special emphasis on a solution centric approach.

Thus ‘Connections 2011’ provides us with an ideal platform to meet & reach-out to partners in an effective manner. Our core objective is to be accessible to partners present in B, C & D class cities also, so that we can have direct communication with them & strengthen D-Links’ position as a leader in networking segment” said Tushar Sighat, CEO, D-Link (India) Limited

‘Connection 2011’ - A multi-city channel engagement program launched early last month has been formulated with the core objective of strengthening partner engagement & enhancing business prospects simultaneously. D-Link has been organizing ‘Connection series’ since last year & has garnered wide-spread popularity amongst channel community, as it provides an ideal platform for both D-Link & its partners to have a one-on-one interaction and discuss various issues pertaining to networking segment.  

In its very first phase Connections 2011 has covered 9 cities across India that includes Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Jaipur, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kochi, Bengaluru, and Baroda so far. The turn-out in all the cities was overwhelming with the presence of over 1400 plus partners put together, thereby making ‘Connections 2011’ a huge success so far. In some of the locations D-Link also felicitated its channel partners for their outstanding support & contribution.

At the event D-Link showcased its extensive portfolio of award-winning networking products and services that include Switching, Routing, Storage, IP Surveillance, Security, Broadband, Wireless & Cabling. Additionally D-Link is also using Connection 2011 as a platform to introduce its range of lifestyle networking products, and inturn give partners a first-hand experience through live demo. D-Links’ current range of lifestyle products include Boxee Box, mydlink and portable 3G routers.  

Connections 2011’ plan to cover over 35 cities this year. With this D-Link shall continue to work closely with its channel partners through a host of educational and training program to further strengthen association with channel community & its end to end solutions offering.
