Posted on November, Tuesday 29, 2011 By itVAR News Network

GreenWorld Homes USA & Caribbean Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of GreenWorld Restoration LLC, has announced the addition of President Vicente Fox as a Board Member of the Company.

President Vicente Fox is a former politician who served as President of Mexico from 2000 to 2006. He is currently a member of the Club of Madrid, an independent non-profit organization composed of 81 democratic former Presidents and Prime Ministers from 57 different countries.

When President Fox first took office in 2000, the government of Mexico built approximately 200,000 homes for low income families. During his last year of office in 2006, President Fox had increased the number of homes built for low income families to 750,000 a year.

According to Michael Torres, President and CEO of GreenWorld Restoration, "We are honored to have President Fox join our Board. He understands housing, he understands governments, and he truly cares for the people. President Fox represents a style of leadership that I look up to and admire. He does what he says he will do and he makes a positive difference in people's lives. President Fox will be instrumental in assisting us with foreign government relations and raising expansion capital to help grow the business."

President Fox has this to say about GreenWorld, "I am very pleased to join the GreenWorld team. Not only do we provide affordable housing but we do it in a way that brings sustainability back into communities."
