ITPV Partner Leadership Awards Gets Overwhelming Response in Mumbai

November3, 2011 proved to be an exceptional day, not only for Techplus Media, but also for the vibrant and dynamic channel community of Mumbai, where ITPV held its Regional Channel Award.

This award event was organised to recognize the leadership abilities of the partners and also to listen to the industry leaders and some prominent IT personalities of the country.


The event was flagged off with immense gratitude and respect towards the omnipotent god and honorable chief guest -Mr. Alex Huang, Country head-Asus Tech Pvt. Ltd. India-and other eminent dignitaries and also our Jury members -Mr. ChampakRaj Gurjar, TAIT President, Mr. Kaushal Khandoor from Neoteric, Mr. Suresh Pansari from Rashi Peripherals, Mr. Dushyant Mehta from Mediaman and Mrs. Kalpana Singhal, Editor in Chief Techplus Media Pvt Ltd.
The event kick started with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by Mr. ChampakRaj Gurjat, TAIT President & Mr. Alex Huang, Country Head-Asus Tech Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Suresh Pansari from Rashi Peripherals, Nitin Shah-CMD-Allied digital services, Anuj Singhal, MD, Tech Plus Media and Kalpana Singhal – Editor In chief-Techplus Media Pvt Ltd.


The event saw some interesting anecdotes from Mr. Anuj singhal (MD, Techplus Media), who has been the driving force behind the company’s success. Mr. Singhal shared with the august gathering about the history of TechPlus Media and how it achieved great heights.


 “Even though, there are some dark clouds over the global IT scenario, especially considering the economic meltdown in some of the European economies, Indian IT is shaping up really fast.  Whether it is deployment of cloud based solutions or software as a service, Indian enterprise and SME segment is surely leading the way towards adopting cutting edge IT solutions and thereby helping the IT industry move ahead and on the right track,” said Mr. Singhal.
 
Followed by him, the Chief Guest Mr. Alex Huang, Country Head-Asus Tech Pvt. Ltd shared his valuable inputs with the audience.

Thereafter, the award ceremony took place, rewarding and recognising those who have left their footprint in the IT industry. One of the highlights of the event was the fact that for the first time any publication encouraged those who are emerging in the industry by honouring their courageous effort.

Ms. Kalpana Singhal, Editor-in-Chief, Techplus Media took the opportunity to extol the courage and out of the box thinking of the solution provider community of the region. She said that whether, it is cloud computing, storage, security or providing data centre solutions, everything boils down to the ability of solution providers in terms of executing the critical projects.

Anuj Singhal (MD, Techplus Media) awarded Mr. Nitin Shah, CMD of Allied Digital as Business Leader of the Year. Mr. Shah since the start of his company has been a commercial innovator, cultural inspiration, and entrepreneurial icon and his passionate perfectionism, enthusiastic commitment, piercing dedication and vision, which is today embedded in the DNA of his company.

This award was followed by honoring Mr. Suresh Pansari (Director, Rashi Peripherals) with the Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a man coming from a small village in Rajasthan who obtained his Chartered Accountancy in 1980. After a few years of stint in accountancy, he founded the company in 1989. Starting modestly under his leadership, the group has reached a turnover of more than Rs. 1000 cr with over 62 branches all over the country and today he is considered as one of the most respected IT veteran in India.

ITPV Partner Leadership Award concluded with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Kalpana Singhal (Editor- in- Chief) and the photo session of all the winners. Techplus Media gave the Channel community a platform to meet and exchange the ideas and thoughts amongst each other. This time, Kobian was a new entrant to join hands with Tech Plus along with the existing supporters i.e. LG, Canon, Digisol, Digilite, Uniline and Netgenie -Cyberoam for this award night.
