HP Intros Widest Range of All-in-One PCs

HP has launched its widest range of all-in-one desktop PCs for the Indian market, unveiling a new portfolio of products that offer consumers powerful and sleek PCs for the family.

“HP is bolstering its market presence with new strategic portfolio enhancements, including the TouchSmarts with innovative designs at mainstream price points for consumers,” said Vinay Awasthi, Sr. Director Product & Marketing (PSG), HP India. ”
The new line of HP All-in-One PCs encourages families to use technology as a tool to bond with each other, share experiences, learn together and enjoy each other’s company. In line with this, the company has also launched the HP All-in-One Family Ties Game. This game promises a rich and fun experience for all members of the family and also gives a chance for users to win prizes along with letting them experience the new HP All-in-One PCs range via an interactive platform.
 
The 23-inch diagonal HP TouchSmart610 and TouchSmart520 PCs are designed for consumers who demand a premium multimedia and touch experience. Along with 2nd Generation Intel Core  Processors, these TouchSmarts feature a suite of built-for-touch applications and a free-standing full HD (1) display that tilts up to 30 degrees, complementing its environment instead of defining it. The floating form of the TouchSmart520 is minimal and elegant with enough space between the stand and display to hide the keyboard when not in use.
 The newest version of HP’s exclusive TouchSmart 5.0 software provides the most intuitive, immersive touch experience to date. Some of the features include touch optimized applications from Twitter and Facebook, as well as HP’s exclusive RecipeBox, webcam and music applications.
 Users can also conveniently access Windows Start menu, apps, desktop icons and applications within the same desktop environment. With a   scrolling desktop that expands horizontally via the TouchSmart’s Magic Canvas, users can easily customize their user experience by dragging and dropping their favourite files and apps onto the TouchSmart’s carousel.
 
The space-saving HP Omni series PCs provide an ideal combination of form, function and affordability. The two new models, Omni120 and Omni220, offer a minimalist, streamlined design with metallic pedestal that elegantly lifts the displays, and also minimizes clutter.  These PCs, moreover, provide consumers with ample amount of storage space – 1 TB hard disk and an added peace of mind with 3 years of warranty.
With 2nd Generation Intel processors and an all-new easel design, the 20-inch diagonal Omni120 and 21.5-inch diagonal Omni220 PCs offer excellent processing, ample storage, built-in speakers and vivid HD displays to pump up your entertainment ante. The new Omni PCs also feature HP LinkUp Technology, which lets users view and interact with content from a notebook PC on the Omni PC. Changes are saved directly to the notebook, so there are no file transfer hassles.
The Omni120 PC also integrates up to 1TB of hard drive space and a choice of the latest AMD or Intel processors. The HP Omni220 PC offers a streamlined cantilever design with Beats Audio, 2nd generation Intel Corei5 processor and graphics for a PC that sounds and performs as good as it looks.
The latest version of DreamScreen400 desktop PC with a dual operating system along with enhanced applications and services has been added to the all-in-one stable to further improve the computing experience of family users in India.   With a dual boot, the breakthrough product now gives consumers the option of installing an alternative operating system, such as Windows 7 Home Basic, which enables them to use the machine as a touchscreen desktop PC while still enjoying the DreamScreen software experience.
 
The TouchSmart610 PCs are available at a starting price of around INR 71, 999. The TouchSmart520 PCs will be available in India from November 2011, at a starting price of around INR 60, 999. The HP Omni120 PCs are available at a starting price of around INR 27, 999. The HP Omni220 PCs are available at a starting price of around INR 50,999. The HP DreamScreen400 PCs are currently available at a starting price of INR 21,999
