Posted on September, Friday 23, 2011 By itVAR News Network

Avaya, a global provider of business communications and collaboration solutions and services, announced the 'Avaya T-20 Channel Challenge', an exciting programme for its Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Avaya Connect Channel Partners.

The four-month long challenge is open to both current and new resellers of the Avaya IP Office solution in India, and will conclude with the winners flying to Australia to watch two T-20 International cricket matches between India and Australia. The events form part of the India tour of Australia which starts in December 2011, as a part of the ICC Cricket schedule,

The T-20 Channel Challenge includes two competitions - The Avaya Partner League [APL] and the Avaya New Partner Cup [NPC] running simultaneously.

The APL is a competition exclusively for current authorized resellers of Avaya IP Office in India who are actively selling the solution to customers in market, while the Avaya NPC is a dedicated competition for new and potential resellers that either want to include Avaya in their
portfolio or are newly authorized and about to start placing orders.
Speaking about the competition, _Adil Doctor - Director SME Sales -
India & SAARC Region, Avaya_, said, "Our SME channel partners are
important to Avaya in extending the reach of our IP Office solutions to
businesses across the region. By introducing this initiative we aim to
recognize their hard-work and commitment to Avaya - and give them an
opportunity to compete for a great prize."

The two final winners of the Avaya T-20 Channel Challenge - the APL and
NPC winners - will fly to Sydney, to watch the 1st T20 Match between
Australia and India on February 1st, 2012 at the historic Sydney
Cricket
Ground (SCG). They will then fly to Melbourne to see the second and
final T-20 match at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on
February 3rd.
