Cadence Appoints New Channel Partner In India

Cadence Design Systems (India) Pvt Ltd., a subsidiary of Cadence Design Systems, Inc., a leader in global design innovation, recently announced that FTD Automation Pvt. Ltd. (FTD) has been appointed as the Cadence Channel Partner in India as a value-added reseller (VAR).

FTD is now the only authorized distributor of Cadence OrCAD products in India.

FTD will distribute the Cadence OrCAD design suite and also provide strong localized technical support and training for current Cadence OrCAD users.

By appointing FTD as Channel Partner, Cadence expands its customer fulfillment capability for the local design community and reinforces its ongoing commitment to support customers.

"The Cadence Channel Partner program is designed to address the complex IC, package and PCB design challenges the design community faces in today's competitive market," said Jaswinder Ahuja, corporate vice president and managing director, Cadence Design Systems (India) Pvt Ltd.

The Cadence OrCAD product line provides affordable, high-performance PCB design solutions including fully integrated front-end design, analog/mixed signal simulation; signal integrity analysis; and place-and-route technologies that boost productivity and shorten time to market. Cadence OrCAD Capture is the most widely used schematic design solution, supporting both flat and hierarchal designs from the simplest to the most complex.
