K.C. Computers is planning to expand itself by opening a multi-branded laptop retail outlet.

Incorporated in the year 1997, Guwahati based K.C.
Computer was started by its proprietor K.C. Goswami to
provide good IT products to its customers. It is one
of the oldest and still the foremost company in
Guwahati. It started its work by opening an exclusive
HCL retail shop in the North East.

It was not at all easy for it to gain hold in the
market, as it had to face a good competition with the
dealers of companies like PCL and Zenith on the basis
of price, quality and after sales service.

The company now has the dealership of IBM, Wipro, HCL,
LG, Compaq, Milestone Interactive Software, Gayatri
and Sujata Softech. It currently focuses on branded
PCs and computer games. It currently has around 40
dealers present in the entire North East. It is
planning to expand itself by opening a multi-branded
laptop retail outlet. Speaking to IT PRICE VAR,
Proprietor, K.C. Computers, K.C. Goswami said, “We are
planning to open a multi-

branded single laptop retail
outlet in Guwahati, which will be the first of its
kind”.

It is experiencing growth of 40 per cent per year and
its volume of sales is 2 crores per annum. It has
recently launched Logitech gaming devices of
non-generic stuff. It targets Home and SOHO segment
the most.

The company has a good support network present in
entire North East. It gives its customers good
knowledge of the product and provides them with
satisfactory after sales service.
